The Honorable Prime Minister has now restarted the free gas connection facility for the women of the country, under this scheme, to make women self-reliant and empowered, now in view of the rising gas prices, the Modi government is giving gas connections for free. This scheme was started a long time ago and earlier women were given free gas connections but now the scope of this scheme has been increased, now in the year 2024 women will get free gas connections, for this the application process and free gas distribution has also started,
Ujjwala Yojana Free Ges Cylinder
Ujjwala scheme of free gas connection is being run by the government, this scheme was earlier run in the name of Ujala Yojana and now it has been restarted in the name of Ujjwala Yojana 2.0 and in this phase free gas connections are given to women and women can get free stove and regulator along with free gas connection and then subsidy on upcoming cylinder forever.
Free Ges Connection Eligibility
- Women from any state of India can apply.
- The woman must be above 18 years of age and married,
- The woman's family should not already have a gas connection,
- The woman's name should be there in the ration card of the woman's family and no one else should already have a gas connection in her name than the ration card,
- The annual income of the family should be less than Rs 2.5 lakhs,
- Women can apply both online and offline. Documents required for application are Aadhaar card and bank account of the woman and information related to the woman such as bank account details and Aadhaar number and Aadhaar card of the woman's husband.
Free Ges / Ujjwala Yojana Registration Process
- To apply under the Ujjwala scheme, visit the Ujjwala Yojana 2.0 portal of the central government official,
- Click on the application option and choose the nearest gas company. Here the names of three companies are available on the portal, HP, Bharat and Indian. Select from these.
- Choose the name of the company which is near to you and convenient for you and proceed with the application process.
- As soon as you start applying, you will be redirected to the company's official registration page and after that fill all the information carefully and fill the complete details by selecting your state, district and tehsil.
- All the documents of the woman and all the details of the woman are filled in the form, among the documents needed by the woman Ration card and Aadhar card are required,
- Submit the form, the form will be checked by the government,
- For offline application, a woman can go to the nearest gas agency or company from where gas is being distributed with all the mentioned documents and submit the offline documents at the nearest gas agency or company and on filling the form by downloading the official form from the link given below, the gas company people themselves will upload it online.
