What is the Mahtari Vandan scheme?
As we told you that Mahtari Vandan Yojana has been started by the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh state. Under this, beneficiary women will be given financial assistance of ₹ 1000 every month, in this way women will get financial assistance of ₹ 12000 annually. The first phase of the scheme has been completed in which about 70 lakh applications have been received by the government.
The first phase of Mahtari Vandan Yojana has ended
The first phase of Mahtari Vandana Yojana 2024 has been completed in which 70 lakh applications have been submitted, for this the government had invited claims and objections from 21 February 2024 to 25 February 2024 and 9,424 objections have reached the government from across the state. The redressal of these objections was started from 26 February 2024 which has ended by 29 February 2024. It is being said that the final list of Mahtari Vandana Yojana beneficiaries will be released on 1 March 2024, after which soon the amount of Mahtari Vandana Yojana First Installment will be transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries.
The first installment will come on International Women's Day - Mahtari Vandana Yojana First Installment
Date of the first installment of Mahtari Vandan Yojana: The objections received under the scheme are being resolved by the state government and the highest number of objections have been received from Korba. 1,311 objections have come from Korba, while the least number of objections have come from Mohla Manpur Ambagarh Chowki, i.e. 6. The final list of Mahtari Vandan Yojana is to be published on 1 March 2024 and the acceptance letter will be issued on 5 March 2024. After this, on the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8, the government will transfer ₹ 1000 under the first installment of the scheme to the bank accounts of beneficiary women.
