Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Manohar Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has recently launched Rajiv Gandhi E-Taxi Yojana for the unemployed youth of the state. Through this scheme, the government will provide 50% subsidy on purchasing E-Taxi and a loan will also be available from the bank to purchase E-Taxi.
The government has planned to distribute 500 E-Taxis under the first phase of this scheme. So that the unemployed youth of the state can get employment by driving E-Taxi. Himachal Pradesh is the first state to distribute E Taxi under this scheme. The government has also launched an official website to make this scheme simple and transparent.
